Terms

These terms cover the public website and the website design, hosting, and maintenance service Websmith sells. They are not a software subscription and there is no client portal.

The service

Websmith designs a site, hosts it, and makes the changes you send. Plans and prices on the website are the current public rates. A written agreement for a specific business controls if it differs from this page.

Demos

A free demo is a one-page preview. It is not a commitment to buy, and it is not a finished site.

Payment and cancellation

Hosting and maintenance are billed monthly at the agreed price. After the initial term, service is month-to-month. You can cancel with 30 days' notice. If you leave, you can buy out the site so you can take it with you.

Your content

You are responsible for the text, photos, and claims you ask Websmith to publish. You keep ownership of your content. Websmith keeps ownership of its tools, templates, and working methods unless a buyout says otherwise.

The website

The marketing site is provided as-is. Submitting the contact form does not create a contract. A project starts when both sides agree in writing.
